High
Speed Internet Access Services
LOGITECH
is providing quality high speed internet services throughout Pakitan
to number of clients. For regional and national ISP's, the broad
satellite coverage provided by LOGITECH through Fleet of Satellites,
offers an ideal platform for upgrading multiple pop networks at
once.
Internet
Services Support:
Receive
Only
Logitech
offers high speed internet access at Committed Information Rate
(CIR) to subscribers. We provide Internet users with high-speed
satellite downstream transmissions with a return path via satellite.
Logitech serves ISP's need for scalable and affordable access solutions,
which minimize the delays in service, lesser downtime and congestion
on this era's crowded information highway.
Logitech
In collaboration with it's partners creates a direct channel from
the Internet backbone to an ISP's local services point, using a
high-bandwidth DVB or SCPC stream. By passing the tangle of terrestrial
and submarine networks through the use of satellites which means
fewer route hops, faster through puts and a vastly improved end
user experience.
Point-to-Point
Link
Logitech's
point to point wireless solutions based on Microwave Radio and VSAT
technology provide protocol-independent clear communications channels
to meet bandwidth requirements of voice, video and data channels.
These channels are essentially clear bit pipes, scalable in a large
range. These solutions can also be employed for setting up wireless
last-mile in large public data networks.
Data rate capacity ranges from 64kbps to 155Mbps in VSAT and from
64kbps to 155Mbps in Microwave Radio based solutions. Higher data
rates can also be realized. These are essentially point-to-point
links that can be arranged in any topology to form either star or
mesh or hybrid network.
Integration
of such networks with the LAN or other application environments
is an intangible task to accomplish. We have router/multiplexer
based different solutions to meet application integration needs.
Dynamic
Bandwidth Allocation
Logitech
provides media-rich downstream traffic directly to an ISP's rooftop
antenna at speeds ranging from 64 KBPS to 155 MBPS. Low bandwidth
data such as requests for web pages travels along the ISP's existing
terrestrial link. Using the asymmetric configuration ADSL additional
capacity is allocated only when required; thus eliminating bandwidth
wastage, which is typically associated with full-duplex fiber Internet
connections.
Very
Small Aperture Terminal ( VSAT )
For
the companies struggling to see forward, LOGITECH is providing VSAT
services which is currently a bright spot in the market.
VSAT
is a satellite communications system that serves home and business
users. A VSAT end user needs a box that interfaces between the user's
computer and an outside antenna with a transceiver. The tranceiver
receives or sends a signal to a satellite transponder in the sky.
The satellite sends and receives signals from an earth station computer
that acts as a hub for the system. Each end user is interconnected
with the hub station via the satellite in a star topology. For one
end user to communicate with another, each transmission has to first
go to the hub station which retransmits it via the satellite to
the other end user's VSAT. VSAT handles data, voice, and video signals.
VSAT
is used both by home users who sign up with a large service such
as Direct PC and by private companies that operate or lease their
own VSAT systems. VSAT offers a number of advantages over terrestrial
alternatives. For private applications, companies can have total
control of their own communication system without dependence on
other companies. Business and home users also get higher speed reception
than if using ordinary telephone service or ISDN.
Digital
Subscriber Line ( DSL)
DSL
is a broadband technology using telephone lines and digital coding
to create an Internet connection from your computer. LOGITECH offers
DSL connection that can carry vast amounts of voice, video and data
information at very high speeds. More importantly, DSL is a constant
connection to the Internet. Since you don't have to dial in, there
are no busy signals. You will not get disconnected, as is sometimes
the case with a dial-up connection through a regular modem. For

Digital
Cross Connect ( DXX )
LOGITECH
offers DXX services for flexible and managed infrastructure of network
transmission. The Digital Cross Connect System improves network
transmission through traffic concentration, grooming and filling
which allows more efficient use of available transmission resources
and enables capacity for expansion and cost reduction through lower
leasing requirements.
